GRACE / BLESSINGS The first images of the painting were remembrances of stories containing the cherry blossom festivals in Japan. The “visual feeling “ of being showered in fragrant beauty. That is how I imagine asking and receiving forgiveness for oneself and others. Forgiveness is the big healer, the “Let Go” as one moves forward in life. The past not forgotten, rather digested, absorbed. The surrender of quite. Then sometimes when we are truly lucky we muster the courage to surrender and receive grace. Then life can be one emergence after another, like a continual blooming flower,a path of petals noting your passage through a state of Grace.
